  • What is the dress code?
    Dress to impress! This year's theme is Disco and the dress code is Studio 54. Think sparkles and glitter. The shinier the better!
  • Can I bring a plus one?
    Yes! We would love to meet your supporters. Anyone is welcome with a valid event ticket.
  • How do I book a ticket?
    Click on the 'TICKETS' section at the top of this page.
  • If I can no longer come to the event can I get a refund?
    We are not able to offer refunds on event tickets, but you are to welcome gift your ticket to another artist.
  • Can I pay in instalments?
    Yes, we offer PayPal Pay in 3 on ticket sales.
  • What are the food choices at the awards?
    It's a three course gala dinner. You will be sent an email closer to the time where you can select a menu option.
  • Do you have vegan options?
    Yes, we have vegan and vegetarian options for the gala dinner.
  • Where is the venue and hotel?
    The Venue and Hotel are located right beside each other (you don't even need to walk outside). They are located at: The Eastside Rooms, Woodcock St, Birmingham B7 4BL
  • Can I get a discount on hotel stay?

  • Can I enter more than one award?
    Yes, you can enter as many categories as you would like to.
  • Who judges the awards and how do they judge?
    The judging panel is made up of Sue and John Bowler from BAPIA and two guest judges. They do all of the shortlisting and final judging and all entries are anonymous until the winners are announced on the night. Judges will consider the following criteria: 1. Wow factor - does the design elicit a strong and positive reaction, leaving a lasting impression, and generates a sense of awe, excitement, or amazement? 2. Is the design Creative, using innovative and unique techniques, or arrangements of balloons to create a visually striking and imaginative display? 3. Colour and Contrast: Has the artist incorporated a good use of contrasting colours in to the balloon arrangement to create a visually dynamic and eye catching display. Do the colours work well with the theme if applicable? 4. Unity & Harmony: Do all the elements appear to belong together, resulting in a strong sense of oneness? 5. Attention to Detail: Does the design look professionally made and finished to a high standard? 6. Brand Visibility: How visual is your brand? 7. Are you actively engaging with your audience on social media platforms and sharing valuable content. 8. Are your posts consistent and regular? 9. Do you have a website? 10. Adherence to Rules: Does the design comply with the rules as stated?
  • Can I submit more than one entry into an award?
    No. You are limited to one entry per award. This is to ensure that artists are only submitting what they believe to be their absolute best work, and not just submitting everything and hoping for the best.
